God has Already done His Part

We need to rightly divide the truth and understand the message of the Gospel. People often say, "If we do our part then God will do his own part". This mindset has crippled the church in legalism and unbelief. This mindset in the body of Christ has ridiculed the finished work of Christ upon the cross and after the cross.

This is the Gospel truth: God has ALREADY DONE HIS PART through Christ and what is left for us is to believe and receive it.

God is not waiting for us to do our part before he does his own part. "God has ALREADY done his part, its now our turn to do our part." Hallelujah...

What is our part? Our part is to BELIEVE and RECEIVE HIS PART. Our part is to KEY IN to what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. Gods Part is Grace. Our part is to believe it. Big difference...

However, we must clearly know that our Part does not make God do his part.. Our part does not change God.. Our part does not move God.. Rather, our part is to believe and receive Gods grace then our part will please God. This is the gospel. God did not wait until we repented before he gave us his only begotten SON on the cross. Romans 5:8 says, "...But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (KJV) While we WERE YET IN SIN, Christ died for us. In other words, Christs death on the cross has nothing to do with our part. It has nothing to do with what we did.

The redemption, the work of salvation on the cross and after the cross has nothing that do with what we did.

The gospel is not like, "After you have repented and ask for forgiveness, THEN Christ will now go up to the cross and die for you"......No No No! Almighty GOD was the one who made the first move. He said, " Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:......." John 15:16. Wow! He chose us, we didn't choose Him first. Boy! This is L.O.V.E

Unmerited! Unconditional! This is the gospel. What a great love this is.. Hallelujah

It's done. It's finished. Christ paid it all. This is why the latter part of John 3:16 says, "...... that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Why would Jesus say that? It's because that is all we need for salvation. Just believe! Only Believe! This is the undiluted Gospel.

God gave his son, then you believe in his son. This is the simplicity of the message of the Gospel. What is our part in salvation? Our part in the work of redemption is to believe. That Jailer in Acts of the apostles asked a very important question which many Christians could hardly answer correctly.

He asked, " WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?" Wow!

What a question Acts 16:30-31

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

[31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

What a perfect answer!

Paul and Silas replied without mincing words. Believe on the Lord Jesus! You know, if some preachers of our time were to answer that straight forward question, they would have complicated it. They could have listed "seven key principles" he needed to do for God to accept him. Hmm. They could have said, you to start confessing your sins and cry to God for forgiveness so that God can forgive you. Hmm, Another could have said, you need to repent first and do restitution so that God will accept you and save you. This simple truth should set your life on course for victory in all endeavors...

Finally, this Gospel truth should teach you how to be FOREVER GRATEFUL...

Blessings...
